Info on Canterbury p&ride

Any changes I should know about the park n ride at Canterbury as will be using it

Hi, I think there was a post mentioning the timings had changed ? Instead of getting 24hrs from any time of arrival for one payment, it's midnight to midnight. So, you have to buy 2 days worth to be able stay overnight ??!! I think that's what I read.....somebody will clarify soon I'm sure.....Maja

Yes, it was midnight to midnight when we were there last August

£3.50 per day, midnight to midnight, no entry after 20:30.
So an overnight stay will be £7. Still a bargain.
One word of advice, we have been there a few times and the last twice, the number recognition camera hasn’t got our reg number right when we approach the exit.
Make sure you keep your receipt when you pay, or pay at the exit barrier. ( we had to pay again as it said we hadn’t paid and we didn’t keep the receipt to prove it. We eventually got our £7 back after a few weeks though.)

When we visited last year the height barriers were down and we were able to get in the almost empty larger carpark opposite the aire. I didnt fancy squeezing in between johnie foreigners anyway as they were too close and noisy for us.
