I have Fiat Ducato 2010 LMC Liberty ti6900 7.8m long will
standard Fiat Ducato towbar fit

Without looking at your motorhome I would think you would need a specialist towbar as although your base vehicle is a fiat ducato the rear body is added onto it and therefore you haven't got the rear chassis of a ducato.

And they have to be type approved and plated for mot these days, spec supply or maker only, no Joe round the corner, mind you I made mine.;)

At 7.8 metres long I would expect it to have an AlKo chassis That would make fitting a towbar much easier.

Have a look underneath at the rear axle. If it has Cart springs it is a Fiat chassis with an extension added. If it has torsion bars enclosed in a tubular axle it is AlKo.

I've just taken delivery of one yesterday, my chassis is fiat ducato 2020 and 7.5 m long, there are extension legs to support the garage area but these are not strong enough to tow with on my particular model anyway. I had to purchase extension bars tow bar and electrics which I opted for the 13 pin plug and is plug and play. As Trev stated jo blogs can't knock one up for you now well he can but it won't be plated which is a requirement now, you may get away with it being a slightly older vehicle I think it may be after 2012 but you would have to check up on that one for insurance purposes. 20230223_131903.jpg

I used tow trust, go onto their site they will give you a sheet to fill in with given dimensions make model etc then they came back with a suitable towbar.

The pictures are of a torsion bar chassis, which probably means it's a Alco chassis but I would go with Scotia and they will know for sure which chassis from the van make and age.

One thing I would check before taking this further ... Is your vehicle rated for towing? You can see on the VIN plate the axle weights, the GVW and the GTW. If the GVW is the same as the GTW (or possibly if there is no 4th weight quoted) you may not be able to tow anything.

If the Towbar is actually for a load carrier that would be ok - but then need to check the hitch weight is sufficient for load carrier + load.
