Setley Ridge Vineyard is about 1/2 mile along the road from our rally. They can do a group vineyard tour and wine tasting for 8 - 30 people at £8/head. Please indicate if you are interested, I would need payment in advance by whenever the vineyard require it, and would you prefer:
Friday afternoon,
Friday early evening,
Saturday afternoon,
Saturday early evening
Monday afternoon,
Monday early evening?

I'd have thought they'd be delighted to @ 8£ a head Many places where we regularly go to in France give us overnight parking some even free EHU + the Wine Tasting just hoping we buy a bottle

If the Rally goes ahead, we would be interested in this. Don’t care when, anytime is good.
Do we know what date a decision will be made about this Rally?

Will put you on my mental list. I have emailed them but they haven't replied. Think you need to ask Phil about when he will decide about the rallies, he has locked them all for now. Think he originally said 2 weeks before, I imagine we would the have to contact everyone to see if they are still coming. Personally I think this situation will continue into July as we haven't had the peak yet - we'll see.

Ok, let’s all keep our fingers crossed. I really like this venue and am hoping that all will be well.

If it doesn't work out Rog, just send us a couple of bottles to taste, we're more than happy to help out !!

Of course Peter, always happy to oblige...... assuming you can find your way back to your van this time! Happy Days! xx

Really hope this rally will go ahead, can't wait to get out and meet everyone and get some fresh air!.
Unless they relax the social distancing I can't see how it would work, it would be a HUGE circle around the campfire (we could all be disguised as bandoleros) - where would we put the vans?

They say on tv that cov 19 will be with us for 2 years, dont know how folk will go to gatherings unless tested and clear.

I can,t see testing being any use as you could be tested in morning pick it up in afternoon an become a carrier by the evening.

Pretty sure by the time July comes around most stuff will be opened up, its a big field and the vans are spaced anyway. For me this is more about being with our community again and sharing a beer from a distance.
