Recon gearbox

Well it looks like I am going to have to bite the bullet and get a recon box for my van 2009 Citroen Relay it’s starting to make whirring noise when you pull away been told it is my gearbox any body got any recommendation.Been quoted £965 from Germany with. 3 year garentee.

When the box come out Rog it will be getting a complete new clutch even though mine has only done 42000 might as well .

Afraid not Jeff. I’ve noticed the box getting noisier over the last few months and my mate who has a garage said it’s definitely the box.

my clutch and flywheel has only done just over 40000 miles but while its to bit i may as well fit new clutch save doing it later lol

He has done gearboxes in the past but its been a very long time ago so better leave it to a expert hopefully lolol

Dump the gearbox oil and fill up again? See if it quietens down.
