Beautiful cloudless morning in Glasgow but only 2 degrees so far.

Foul weather warning for everything north of Lisbon and right across SW Europe.

It was snowing last night, up north, and cool enough to make us pull the heaters out of storage.
Thursday, we bought new summer bedding and put it on.
All winter coats and jumpers put in the loft.
Awoke to glorious sunshine and sunbathed on the bed.

1 hour later a big black cloud mass arrived. .20 mins of good honest rain.

Back to blue sky and sunshine.
But there's a sharp NW wind around.
The local forecast states " 16 degrees, no chance of rain and mild Western breezes."

Shorts off, trackkie bottoms and sweater on.
Brandy in the coffee.

After a chilly start, it quickly turned into a beautifully bright day with a light westerly breeze. It'll probably tip down in the evening.

Bright morning in Glasgow and it should remain fine all the way back to sunny Blackpool. ️️️

Yesterday's rain will continue, being steadily blown away by a moderate westerley breeze. Temperatures remain cool at 11 degrees, affecting plant growth.

We don't know what we're going to get, Winds all round the compass. Clouds pile in and disappear. .
Cool 14 degrees. It's snowing in Leeds.. That's too close for comfort.
Protective brandy in the coffee, just in case.

Back in Blackpool where its pleasantly warm and pure blue sky all round.

Walked 200 metres into it.

Could feel the family jewels. Turning to ice..

10 minutes in front of a fan heater, may save the day.

The moderate southerly breeze has blown the cloud away, leaving us with a bright blue sky and 16 degree high.

Very mixed weekend in Staffs, bitterly cold and damp on Saturday with the easterly wind. Yesterday we had some sunshine, dry but very breezy. This morning we have high cloud, the breeze has shifted to a more southerly direction but still only 8° so far. Heading home later ready for the school run.

Raining overnight and will continue till mid afternoon. Temp is currently 17c, it’s like walking around a warm shower.

The farmers will be happy, everything has looked so dry.
