Weird noise when shutting off engine

I think it wants to get into a drum and base band! :ROFLMAO:

But that is weird!
 
Could it be the eng switch on they way out, had this on a car and replaced with a push button for starter as cheap way out.
 
I have no idea, this van is full of strange noises.
 
I know you have dicks legs & ears, but hopefully this will get through the mush that is your brain.

Its all related to the ERG valve and or valve chest, think that's the terminology, There is a flap valve that should close to give an instant shut down when you switch off.
It could also be a software issue that has the throw of the valve out of sync.
Hope this info points you in the right direction
 
Thanks Mike, not sure what to do about it though.
 
I've looked up EGR valve symptoms and my noise or any noise except a rattle when you hold it in your hand isn't mentioned so still looking for answers that might help.
