It was all meant as light hearted banter which most people got no offence was meant to anyone in any part of the country but if I got on my high horse everytime someone implied northerners are a bit thick I’d never get down off it. It is getting so you cannot say anything on any forum, Facebook or the like without someone taking offence we are all turning into a nation of snowflakes.
I suppose that’s going to slated as a derogatory term.
I sent the guy away with a northern flea in his ear I was not involving the police as no injury was sustained and I was not going to let a nimby spoil our holiday.
