Great news Geraldine our campervan passed her Mot this morning. 32 years old and still going strong.
Afew advisories but the one that concerns me is the Nearside and offside rear leaf springs corroding. As parts are becoming obsolete is there anyone out there who can point me in the right direction for parts or advise me about what to do about this matter.
Many thanks. David.

Is one of the handy things with Leaf Springs that you can "make your own"? - or at least get some done for you and not tied to the makers own?

Think she’s a Delta-7 Jedi starfighter....

Can only see a small part of it but I'm sure you're right, in which case I've
heard that a Luke Starfecker runs a small rocket scrappie yard with his rather
strange uncle Hands Sodoff on the second death star in the Black Hole
Nebula, unfortunately it's in a far, far off Galaxy, takes longer than 32 light years
to get there.

I only seen this van once I’m nearly positive it’s a Toyota hiace. Or could it be a cabstar a well it’s one or the other.

There are spring refurbishment companies all over the Country who could make yours like new again or sell you new ones made to a stronger spec than the originals, it isn't expensive either,
such as this one
I wouldn't worry about it myself as long as it isn't sagging but if it bothers you it is an easy fix

Thank you so much for this information. I will get on to the case straight away.

Congrats on adding MOT. How’s Treacle?
Truffle lives on.Thanks to Annie's chat around the fire regarding her aging dog and what Meds she is on. We have one more medication on the reserve list to prolong her life. Amazing what drugs are now available for heart disease.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Cheers. David
