About me

For my first post on here, I thought that I would introduce myself.

I'm retired, and have been motorhoming since the days they were all called "Dormobiles" rather than the multitude of names used today.

Due to unmentionable events in the UK, I'm now living in my home country of Sweden, and joined the forum simply because I'd like to keep my english up to scratch, and what better way than talking motorhomes?

My motorhome season will generally see me at Speedway GP events, or in Europe. Obviously, I do know a bit about Sweden, as well as other Scandinavian countries, and would be pleased to offer advice, even if some will not accept or like it.

Now to browse the forum.

Hello and welcome I too like speedway but not been to any event in Europe yet

If you do decide to visit a European event, I would recommend one in Poland. The atmosphere at the meetings there is fantastic. One I would recommend is Torun, two weeks on Saturday if its possible for you. Its looking very much like a Polish rider will become World Champion this year. If he does, the place will explode!

Hi and welcome from Scotland enjoy 😊

From your user name, do I take it that you are from Forres? I know a few that live there...:)

For everyone that has replied, thankyou for the welcome!

Welcome to our little group, must consider coming over to visit Sweden one day soon. Your title (Wavy Gravy) made me smile took me back to Sunday dinner when I was a kid and sometimes with Mum in a rush the old Bisto powder would do its own thing in the pan and the family would cry oh no - wavy gravy again

Thanks guys.

trevskoda: One day, I might get over there. I've been wanting to go for ages, partly to keep a promise to a family in the ROI.

Bigbarry: I just thought I would choose a user name that was a bit funny. I'm pleased it brought back a good memory for you.
