Yes I get it now how serious it is, Bill came home from work last week with a mild form of it I am touring Scotland and had a break out of the dreaded man flu I didn’t know ladies could get it but I feel that poorly it can only be man flue called at a supermarket today and Purchased Benalyn cough mixtures, beechams flu plus’s, albas oil, cough sweets, vicks vapour rub and 3 boxes of tissues £23 pounds later I think I am armed to take it on hopefully be better by the time we get to the Frog meet 😪😪🤒🤒🥴

+1 for Vicks, seems to stop tickly coughs but tend to buy generic paracetamol and wash it down with hot honey,lemon and a tot.

Nasty heavy colds here. Nik first, then little Millie, finally me. Daughter has had female man flu since Friday. She’s now somewhere between deaths door and two streets away. At one point I thought about having her put down.
No that’s untrue. I think that a lot of the time 🤬
 
I have it now in spite of me having the flu jab, I got soaking wet for several days before we left home and now I am suffering for it.

Can I just point out that you cannot get colds or flu from the following
Getting soaking wet in the rain
Going out with your hair wet
Getting dried using damp towels
Walking in the snow with bare feet
Paddling in the sea in winter
It’s a virus you catch it from other people. 🤣😂🤒

From the amount of likes I’ve had from the above. I’m obviously not the only one with a relative who suffers from acute hypercondria .

In reply to Annie’s piece. Do hermits and other loners not get a cold or flu then?
If that’s right, then you lot can all take a hike 🤬
 
Joking aside but there are some of us who have other ailments and illnesses which are exceptionally difficult to keep under control and which can be triggered off by exposure to the ever so kind people who like to share their man flu and colds around!

I am feeling a little better this morning, now it is just like the flu that women get instead of man flu;)
