Voderphone payg

Can anybody help please. My English bank insists on an English mobile number so when I recently had to go there got a payg sim and was told that could top it up from Portugal but no went into local voderphone shop was told could not do English phones. So tried using 24 something number finally told to press one phone cut out tried again same problem . So if I can get somebody in England to go into voderphone shop will they need my phone or just the number to top up .Sorry but mobiles and me don’t mix.
 
But you have to be able to use the app....I have had help from Vodafone UK via their online chat from the website. Might be worth doing that. Vodaphone.pt is different company and won't be able to help. Hope you sort it! Not sure it can be done by someone else, but if you still have trouble, I can try for you!

You don't need the app to top up online, there is a button on the page 2cv linked to "Top up online" that allows you to do exactly that. I used it in France but it should also work in Portugul.

Thanks everyone for replying I will try 2cv link and see if it works it does seem that voderphone have a crap system I assume they don’t want somebody like me who only wants a number and doesn’t spend hours with the phone stuck in their ear.
