Had the same in our outdoor storage box, bugger chewed a hole into a plastic bucket of mixed bird seed and fat balls and had the temerity to nest and sh1t into my Rigger boot. Got the vermin raddled thing with a trap, right big bugger too.

Definitely a rat Mr Woo looking at the size of those teeth marks. Fine looking pair of wellies too!

They`re size 13 wellies Ral so that will give you an idea of how monstrously huge the beast might be o_O

Just hope the trap / cage is big and strong enough to detain it

We had a huge one rolling around on our patio a couple of years ago, looked like it had been poisoned by one of the neighbours.

I took out my air gun and shot it to put it out of it's misery. The pellet passed through the rat, hit the patio, back up through the rat and hit our polyethylene oil tank. Luckily the pellet then glanced off of the tank and embedded itself in the fence, otherwise it would have been a very expensive bit of euthanasia!

I don't know if I have mentioned it, but we keep chickens ☺ (another form of vermin) so with a lot of their food scattered about, rats are a common visitor to our garden.

Checked the trap this morning and nothing although it does look like the food scraps have been disturbed a little

Peanut butter going on it later today (y)

If the peanut butter doesn’t work, try some mushed up Mars bar (Aldi equivalent and other brands are available 😂) ........
