4 degrees and sunny in Shrewsbury, wind has dropped as well

Herts awoke to both a thick mist and a thick frost this morning but now the sun is above the horizon, the mist is dispersing and the temperature is rocketing upwards - currently 1°C.
The air is still and is forecast to stay that way until the weekend when the jet stream brings an altogether different weather system to the UK.

Looks murky, down on the coast.

Our guest is dashing in and out, to sunbathe, during the sunny spells...
Carrying beer.
Some rain prophesied, on Friday, by the seaweed fondlers.
That'll do nicely, a bit of irrigation.

Is it considered Ok to go to a funeral wearing oilskins and a Sou'wester.
The afternoon improved, immediately after my gloomy post.
The beer monitor took herself off for a walk in the hills, returning with a hint of suntan..

The forecast wind speed has dropped to 50 Paul, so you might not need the parachute, but you still might have to circle over Stockport twice though ✈ we‘ll keep you posted ......

As Colins’ weather forecast shows, I don’t think you’ll be flying to the UK on Sunday I'm afraid.

I can't imagine that you're being censored, Oppy.
Once completing your intended post, are you clicking the 'Post Reply' button? (With your experience I don't think that the problem is likely to be this!). And if so, is your screen showing a newly accepted post? If your post is showing, does your post disappear subsequently?
An expert will be along soon and actually be helpful, I'm sure!

I know that I shouldn't contradict experienced Aircrew, Bill, but the wind direction indicates that Paul will find the aircraft easily makes the trip to Manchester and will probably arrive ahead of schedule.
Landing, on the other hand .........

Panic over.! Either the wind speeds shown are in KPH or the forecast has changed. Either way you should at least make it after a bumpy ride.

Hertfordshire is blanketed in frost this morning with a most beautiful, bright, blue sky overseeing the splendour.
The air is at about 3°C and still.
The bike ride will be chilly but I'm really looking forward to it.

Not a scorcher, but pleasant enough for breakfast outdoors.. ( If our guest hadn't been with us, we'd have stayed indoors, though.)
