Weather Report..................

A beauty,this morning..
10 degrees at dawn.18 now the Sun's up.
Wall to wall blue.
Had to fight my way through bees, to pick my breakfast orange.
We're both sniffing, coughing and croaking. That's the souvenir of our UK holiday.
( Sorry to burden you with our troubles ).

Hertfordshire had white upon it and blue above it first thing this morning.
In anticipation of Deluge Dennis making cycling a tad difficult tomorrow, I've decided to pit my legs against the hills and ended up, once again, on top of Dunstable Downs.
It's a lovely spot to view the Bedfordshire lowland, though tomorrow the view may not be quite so far-reaching.
It being Valentine's Day (you didn't forget, did you?) there's a star gazing event organised up here for this evening. I rather fancy the attendees will need to bring their own.

Colin 🙂🙂🙂

We're even taking a small bouquet and a candle down to the Greasy spoon cafe , Pensioner's Threat.

Although I have admit that I'm more than impressed, Paul, I really do feel duty bound to point out that it's displays of affection like this that makes life rather difficult for those that don't.

Creep..?
Got it in one, Colin.
Remember who drove me to my present situation.. In more than one interpretation of the word " drove ".
Just come inside as the temperature fell below 16 degrees.
We'd spent a romantic hour, or so, side by side, heads down, bums up, pulling up Clover clumps.
The couple that weeds together, succeeds together.. Apparently.

He heee heeee, laid these on the doorstep yesterday evening just before we went out for a meal last night ,kept going on at her saying who are they from ,she replies they must be from one o the kids or maybe the grandkids ,but it got let out this afternoon I was responsible for them ,
giggle while it lasted

Hertfordshire is relatively warm at 11°C this morning but, other than that, it's pretty grim outside with plenty of wetness right now and plenty of windness on it's way.
Our thoughts today must surely be with those who, having suffered with flooding of their homes and communities last weekend, have more of the same to cope with this weekend.
