Weather Report..................

Breezy.
Cooler.
Great day for putting up a carport.
Even greater day for watching the bloke do it.

For me, the best quips are those where the punch is not only in the last line but in the final word or two.
You managed it yet again, Paul, and gave me a huge grin.
Thanks for that one.

Colin 🙂🙂🙂

Now then Colin, considering the deluge that some northern members are enduring that pic almost warrants a smug filter 🤔😂

Nope.
I claim mitigating circumstances - after all, I was very open with the community about rubbish Hertfordshire weather this morning!
Apologies, Dave.

Colin 🙂🙂🙂

My son, in Altrincham, had water coming through the roof, following recent hailstorms.
An emergency roofer climbed through his velux rooflight to sling some mastic on as a short term fix.
The next big storm came, as the guy drove off.
Then they went into the cellar...
They've water in there, too.
Under normal circumstances, we'd have been parked on a nearby carpark, that's part of an overflow flood plain.
Nothing remotely like that is happening here.

Hopefully they’ll get to dry out and properly repaired in the next couple of weeks as the weather outlook is improving Paul. The Potteries and Cheshire has had more than its share of the wet stuff in the last week or so with lots of localised flash flooding, it’s our penance for the glorious weather in May 🤔 Just heard that the Countess of Chester Hospital has had to close some operating theatres due to water ingress 🙁

Hertfordshire is still, mild and dry this morning - which sounds good to me too!
Not only that, but the coming week is shaping up to raise the spirits more than a little. Hereabouts it'll seem more like southern France than southern England.

Colin 🙂🙂🙂
