Hi we have recently changed our trip to Sardinia from Spain for obvious reasons, please accept we are key workers who literally need a break so no offers of advice on whether we should or shouldn’t go, we know it’s a risk but no more so than when I am working for NHS. My issue is navigating Corsica ferries and MOBY ferries websites. Which is the best location to travel from from Genoa or Toulon? Our camper is including bikes 7m x3m. On MOBY website camper states “Camper-closed deck, cat9c” What does this mean, will our van fit? For Corsica ferries you cannot put the height it’s over 2.49m then when you go to checkout it has your van as 2.5m high when it’s more like 2.8? Will they just surcharge as I have heard they do ask €80 or again will there be an issue. Lastly has anyone travelled through to Italy with new requirements. I have downloaded a form for entry to Italy but we also have to register online for Sardinia and as we are going next week all being well worried it won’t be sorted in time. Anyone help??

Never been from Toulon, but have from Nice, Savona and Genoa. Of those 3, Savona would my choice, it's certainly the easiest. Genoa is a great place, but it's mental busy, the whole town, not just the port.
Depends where you want to land in Corsica.
No idea with current travel requirements.

Strange just went all the way through to payment page and it kept height at over 2.49m all the way.

Enjoy your trip, Both Corsica and Sardinia are great places.

When going to Greece we've booked but it looks to me as if the largest amount of passengers just arrive an buy a ticket could be the same for you

Thanks for reply, which ferry company goes from savona, where is it and do you go in your camper? Will look into that one. Reply appreciated

Looks like the ferries don't go to Sardinia from Savona.
The Corsica ferries website is a bit of a pain, might be easier on direct ferries or similar.

Another one here for Direct Ferries. I used them last autumn to book Nice to Corsica, then onwards to Sardinia, then back to Genoa. They were cheaper than using the Ferry companies themselves and showed all the routes and ferry companies available.I don't know if they are always cheaper but when I booked Liverpool-Dublin rtn for my now aborted Spring trip they were cheaper and found a crossing that the ferry company was showing as unavailable.

Direct Ferries will give you the height option of up to 4m using Corsica Ferries. They seem to have availability next week if you can get to Toulon.
