HI FOLKS ,HERE IS A UPDATE ON THE ELSAN SITUATION AT LOCHORE
TODAY I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM LOCHORE
FUNDING HAS BEEN GRANTED FOR A NEW PIPE TO RUN STRAIGHT INTO THE MAIN SEWER SYSTEM WHICH SHOULD ELEVIATE ANY FUTURE PROBLEMS LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN HAVING DUE TO NAPPIES ETC BEING DEPOSITED INTO THE SYSTEM
THE WORK SHOULD BE COMPLETED EARLY AUGUST AND READY FOR OUR MOTORHOME MEET THERE
CAN I ASK IF ALL IS WELL WHEN WE ARE THERE TO LET ALL KNOW THROUGH FORUMS AND WORD 9F MOUTH THAT IT HAS BEEN RECTIFIED AS THE TEAM THERE ARE WORKING HARD TO PROVIDE IMHO A GREAT SERVICE TO THE MOTORHOME COMMUNITY

Would it have been worthwhile them putting a bin at the side of the elsan point for nappies to go into.

Maybe just maybe if there was a bin at the side of the elsan point then the lazy sods might just use it especially if they put a sign on it to help the thick lazy sods out

Is this the result of so called "protecting children"? Some of these will be young adults that have never been told "No!" for fear of upsetting them. Never taught socially acceptable behaviour, because it's better to grow up "Feral" ? I had the rolling pin raised at me more than once by my Mother and much worse by others. I don't condone Violence towards children or anyone for that matter, but sometimes you need the "proverbial slap" to correct your direction.
 
I was often told by my mum it would be the poker from the companion set or the wet cloot (cloth) fae the sink I would hit with ,never had the poker but the wet cloth yeah but we had a giggle ,respected my mother R I P MUM ❤️

Indeed, the elsan point was blocked at Kelso meet by someone putting wet wipes in there
 
Brought a few memories back there Gordon, it used to be my Gran who used the wet dish cloth if I was hanging around and pestering whilst she was washing the pots. Got it many times but always a laughed about it later. Enough to let you know who was boss.🤣🤣
 
The people who put things down drains they shouldn’t probably don’t even realise they are doing anything wrong. These days it’s very much different and mains drainage in most modern houses will cope with just about anything. Better to try and educate than rant, can lend you a BB gun for your meet though Gordon if you want to do sentry duty 😂😂😂👍
