Is it better to have 1 larger battery i.e. 130 aph or 2 smaller ones i.e. 65 aph
 
I have a pair but when I had a battery fail 4 years ago the dud battery knackered the second battery so ended up having to buy a pair.
Just remember if you have one large capacity battery you’ll need to go on a weightlifting course to lift it lol !
 
I went for a pair too.

In our PVC I was happy to take the small hit on space.
 
2 x 100 amp would be better as the days are rapidly shortening and battery use will rise ,as solar out put falls to almost nothing in winter months . I also take a spare stand alone battery just for tv . I would only camp until heating fails.

That’s why I always carry my Honda generator to enable me to go on my travels all year round.
 
I always went for a pair of 125ah, and cross-wired them in and out to make the liccle leccy blokes work better.
