Driving Licence renewal for over 70s

I applied to renew my license on line in June but because I have an eye condition I had a letter from the DVLA advising me to take an eye test. I had the eye-test in August at Specsavers. I received my renewed license today, so the moral of this story is don’t despair if you applied months ago it could be with you shortly.

I have no idea what they are up to I am a part time driving instructor and 17 year olds applying for provisionals are waiting 4 to 5 months !
