King Charles is back at Balmoral

They are officially having a week of family mourning after the funeral.

It was a heavy-duty affair. Doubt if I would want to dive straight back into work after going through that lot!

As Gordon said, whether you're a royalist or not (and I'm not particularly) they are still human and have barely had a minute to themselves throughout the whole show.

Don't disagree there but the vision of Charlie clocking back into 'work' first thing Monday morning is amusing

Funny story today - the fish van came today instead of yesterday. The excuse he gave was that although Balmoral wasn’t on his round schedule for yesterday the Castle had ordered 300 quids worth of fish for King Charles (and presumably his wife and their staff). When he had loaded the fish into the van the fishmonger managed to lock himself out of the van and had to wait for the local garage! So he didn’t get round all his customers yesterday (although he did manage to make the Balmoral delivery) - so fish for us tonight instead of last night!
But I don’t begrudge the King at all - in fact a heavy dose of Omega 3 should help him as he was looking pretty exhausted.
On a side note they were driven from the airport to Balmoral in an Electric car - I just hope they can charge there rather than using the public charger I use whenever I’m in Ballater!

a well deserved rest...they should have two weeks at least after that exhausting circus of ...doing the rounds... straight after his mother had died.

im no fan of the pair of them. however, i do think all that rigmarole could have been postponed until after the funeral.
they both looked absolutely shattered. after all they are in their 70s. and it must have been a gruelling time for them.
