Your 'spare hose' looks identical to the one 1 bought from Autogas in Thirsk in Jul 21 and it was sold as being the required connection for a Calor refill or similar 'for when you're in the Highlands and there's no lpg available'This is what I have at the mo if anyone can help me ,thanks Chris.

The whole point of refillables is that you can top them up so they really shouldn't ever run out.Hi all, just purchased a 2016 Eldiss Accordo 105 which has a refillable gas bottle (yellow) it has a 2nd pipe running from the Regulator, can I purchase & fit an ordinary 6kg Propane Bottle (Red) as a spare to use when yellow runs out, thanks in advance Chris.
My response #5I was just inquiring if anyone has the same set up so to have a back up if unable to top up, as Second Refillable is quite expensive, thanks for the replies, Chris.
And the photo shows clearly that there is room for a bigger bottle in your van. With refillables there is no point* in having two bottles. If the one you have isn't big enough, but a bigger one and sell the smaller one secondhand.
* Unless the locker is too small for a bigger bottle.
I cannot understand why one wouldn't; peace of mind, especially if going off grid for a decent period, take advantage of price falls, not risking running out when in remote areas, not worrying about running the heating and the fridge etc. We were away for 87 days recently and very few EHU's, so 2 gas bottles were very usefulI also cannot understand the need to have a second gas bottle if you have one refillable. Be like fitting a second fuel tank just in case you run out.
Do you have two diesel tanks?I cannot understand why one wouldn't; peace of mind, especially if going off grid for a decent period, take advantage of price falls, not risking running out when in remote areas, not worrying about running the heating and the fridge etc. We were away for 87 days recently and very few EHU's, so 2 gas bottles were very useful

It sounds likely, assuming the regulator has either a changeover switch or is automatic. If you can quote the regulator make and model it will be possible to give a definitive answer.Hi all, just purchased a 2016 Eldiss Accordo 105 which has a refillable gas bottle (yellow) it has a 2nd pipe running from the Regulator, can I purchase & fit an ordinary 6kg Propane Bottle (Red) as a spare to use when yellow runs out, thanks in advance Chris.
But many carry a fuel can, just in case.I also cannot understand the need to have a second gas bottle if you have one refillable. Be like fitting a second fuel tank just in case you run out.
We have a pair of refillables.I also cannot understand the need to have a second gas bottle if you have one refillable. Be like fitting a second fuel tank just in case you run out.
