Wife and I have just tested Positive for Covid, thought we had colds and bad cough but Oh Oh we were both due our 4 th jabs and flu jabs 2 morrow but now cancelled, seems now we carry on as normal but wear masks again??
 
We both had it last July. We didn't find out we had had Covid until August. :D

Treat it same as other things .... if you had a very infectious cold, would you carry on mingling with other people? I am guessing not?
 
Just take it easy and go with the flow..

We picked it up in late June.
Proper poorly for 5 days, before testing negative.
We've just got back to being active, after 12 weeks of fatigue.
Lost a lot of our walking stamina.
Treat it with respect and allow yourselves time to fully recover.
With good luck, you might get off lightly, we hope.
 
I had my Top up of my Booster & Flu Jag today, 1 in each arm. 'Have you had COVID in last 28 days?'

'Naw, just a stinking cold from running round in the dry 1 minute and the monsoon the next minute'

'OK, just a wee prick, and the same the other side' ...

Should I feel proud or insulted? ... Too cold to be proud... :rolleyes:

We had our top ups on Monday.
Both felt awful all week .worse than having covid ...
 
We've both had cough/cold since our jab last week, quite bearable but could do without the barking.

Did the COVID tests again today, I still have it but only slight red line Cathy is free of it according to the tests , but both feeling very tired and
listless , have regular sleeps as and when , I still have the annoying cough and runny nose, feels like a bad cold really but hey ho getting there I think, So that is 12 days now had a letter today offering us both booster jabs and Flu jabs too that is on November 7th hope we can take that up as we had to cancel both jabs last week after positive tests ,

You need to wait 4 weeks from Covid before you can have a booster. Flu no problem as long as you are well

Covid is riff again in the midlands lots of people in our dance community have it but there again we are all out dancing again so it will spread.
If we feel have any flu like systems we stay home but many don't..
It's a part life now just like any other cold or flu.
But my 2 daughters have both just had it and both been very poorly ..New strains not good.

I know this is a serious subject (two friends of mine have recently had covid and after effects are not good, possibly looking at long-covid :( ) BUT... your misspelling of 'rife' in the context of your sentence made me giggle. Sorry! ;)😂

Here in Thailand most still mask up when out and about.
Many shops you have to buy at the door.
Tesco/Lotus has a face scanner on entry ... it can tell if you are wearing a mask.
No mask no entry.
Also cleansing fluid still available.
I appreciate we all want to get on with our lives.
But imo we are too lacking in care.
Getting covid still a worry and more !
If you get covid..you have to pause life anyway (x2)
