It's all hands on with me no machine's, Hose and a gentle rub by handThanks Dave. We had some Albanians but I think they get a bit heavy with the jet washer
It's the best way Dave I never use a pressure wash you can do to much damage with one of those. It's all hands on with me no machine's, Hose and a gentle rub by hand
Don,t forget to just rub nice and gentleIt's the best way Dave I never use a pressure wash you can do to much damage with one of those.
Every time I look at the green spongy stuff growing out of the rear high brake light panel, and along the awning rail, I think of Jeff Mossy ...If it's a Sevel van then pressure washers will bring the paint off down to the zinc coating.
Ours has gone green as the back is north-facing so I'll leave it until spring as it will only come back.
Why not try a roof garden, or a proper sedum roof and a local farmer could lend you a couple of sheep to graze it down from time to time?Every time I look at the green spongy stuff growing out of the rear high brake light panel, and along the awning rail, I think of Jeff Mossy ...Keeps me entertained whilst I'm trying to weed the bodywork ...
On a serious note, it's amazing how quickly the moss takes root in the dark, damp Northern Winters!
Steve
'Hey, McCloud, get offa my ewe' springs to mind, and doing it at roof level in a cold December sea breeze does not blow my frock, or indeed, kilt up ... And the neighbours will start to talk about me again ...Why not try a roof garden, or a proper sedum roof and a local farmer could lend you a couple of sheep to graze it down from time to time?
What makes you think we stopped?the neighbours will start to talk about me again ...
And there was me thinking the voices were just inside my head ...What makes you think we stopped?
can I ask what is the name of your snow foam please because the stuff i used was rubbishI coat the entire roof of 'Millie' with a thick layer of snow foam wash, then leave it to soak for as much as 40 mins. before gently washing it off and find that everything other than the most difficult crud will have gone.
Sometimes I will then give her another coat of snow foam wash as the one I have also has some kind of polish mixed in with it and that almost always leaves the entire roof looking sparkling clean.
I do the rest of 'Millie' with the same foam whilst the roof is soaking and generally speaking the entire van is sparkling almost like new within an hour of starting.
Mine is from Holts, however I have learnt over the years that it is all down to how you use it. I bought quite some years ago a professional, heavy duty Stihl pressure washer for which I recently bought a snow foam attachment, they work superbly together.can I ask what is the name of your snow foam please because the stuff i used was rubbish
what is the name of it better still can you give me a link to it as I'm a bit thickMine is from Holts, however I have learnt over the years that it is all down to how you use it. From what I know, it is down to the method of application and not the actual make of the detergent.
