We left Castro Marim today for Almada de Ouro Odelite paid parking aire lovely position 5 euros all in except lecky extra, site on a high flat plateau with far reaching views to the lakes, cheap bar on site and cafe not tried it yet P 4 N site, shower here so that comes first, booked for one night but probably stay longer.

My garden today, first cut of the grass ( silage anyone? ) 1000ft above sea level, free bar. Dave the crofter just left after several beers, settled the tab £1900 for 350 kg of Aberdeen Angus. Life is hard in the Scottish borders.

We now at PEREIRO nr Odeiliete free parking huge place bags of room, official place , small town with bar cafe but that is all free services but 2 e Jeton for water but hard to get the Jeton it seems so stealth water from washing up sinks taps, barbis facility here too, there is a resivoir lake here but almost dried up but a good view none the less P 4 N site so lots of feed back there. Lovely drive from our last night stop through the Mountains full sun again today 20 degs. About 20 vans dotted about here but we the only Brits someone has to fly the flag hee hee.

Hi ken, if it is a big white one with a trailor behind then yes it is. Missed it first time, looks like a very good conversion I first thought it was an ex Prison van but looks too good for that, we saw Turtles in the lake today walked to the town for beers yesterday and coffee this morning shame there are no shops at all nothing to spend any money on, lovely scent of Orange Blossom everywhere though.

We now at Alcoutim free aire and services really hot today but lovely the Aire overlooks the Guadiana River and San Lucar Guadiana town which we previously stayed at in Spain, super views, ferry across to it if you fancy a boat trip of about 10 minutes cheap. Alcoutim is gearing up for Easter celibration so we shall see what happens, we took a walk into Alcoutim this morning for a quick Lrecky but it was so hot that most of our walk was sitting in the shade hugging cold beers and people watching he hee it is 20 degs now at 6 pm and back at the van resting, it is such a hard life you know.
