We try not to be, but do like to have a bite of something after our evening meal sometimes but it's all fat, sugar or salt or it's too big etc.

I think we've found something that while not actually over healthy isn't truly awful and actually all the varieties are really nice to munch on albeit quite briefly.

I found these last week, I got a pack to try as my blood sugar seems to drop about 4-5 hours after a meal and then the rest of me starts to feel quite ill, but if I eat something I feel better almost immediately.

Anyway this is what I'm enjoying, and Liz likes them too, cheap as chips too £1 for 5 in the box:-

One of my favourite snacks is an apple and plain crisp sandwich, simply divine dear ;) ;)

Currant tea cake with cheese and jam tastes like Christmas cake.

Thanks for that we had the skinny whip mint and dark chocolate better than my milkyways :)

Yes we like that one.

We tried the Skinny whip Toffee last night, very moorish.

I bought one of each variety in Asda last week.

That's not snacks :ROFLMAO:
Olives, nuts or cheese are my go to nibbles, with chocolate or crisp sandwich as a backup!

I like Olive's but I keep getting black eyes.

I like things that shouldn’t go together jam and cheese sandwich. I also love a beetroot and tuna sandwich. Or heart attack central bacon cheese and tomatoes fried together on top of a thick slice of fried bread.

Tomato dip.

Bread/toast and beef dripping

Beef and beetroot

Black pudding sandwich

I can't do with those greasy potato things cafes put with a breakfast.

Well after a long beach walk, paddle, and playing in the rocks catching Hermit crabs and watching Octopus and cutle fish doing there thing, we wandered into town Fuseta Portugal for a look round the fish and produce markets marveling at the vast variety of fish, shellfish, and Octopus and other slimy creatures on offer there. We decided to go back to the van and have something to eat and go out for a meal this evening, we toasted four fresh rolls we had bought opened 2 tins of Sardines and mixed the Sardines with mayonais lemon juice, pepper salt malt vinegar and fresh chopped spring onion. Buttered the rolls, spread the Sardine mix on all 8 pieces topped this with sliced tomatoes cucumber, red, green and yellow Peper slices and a further dribble of lemon juice and ate four each. Poor man's lunch but delicious pudding was a large fresh orange each BIG HERE sliced Strawberries and ice cream topped with sliced stem ginger and some of the Ginger sauce poured over all this. We also drank a couple of glasses of expensive white Portuguese wine 85 cents a litre box, and are now feeling a bit sleepy hee hee, so later we return to the beach to work up an appetite for our Dinner later 23 degs here today but a lovely cooling sea breeze, we have a nice spot on this Fuseta squat overlooking the beach and sea.
