I wonder the reasoning why Dales flood the dry dock?
Same thing occurred to me yesterday when I saw this report Terry. I spoke to a naval surveyor who used to work at Rosyth and he told me that it wasn’t as simple as simply flooding the dock. He went on to explain why but I’m afraid I got lost somewhere during his spiel!!
 
Msg my contact there, vessel shell fubared and there is concern vessel will not float in its current state. Contact described it as the quayside doing a nick break test on the vessel, which is understandable, as there is a lot of super structure above deck level, a fair old weight on the hull plates. Police and HSE still on the ground.

Be an interesting case, I’ve been told further info, which would not be prudent to post, as this info could be hearsay, possibly libellous.

Dales will require very good solicitors to defend an action from the US gov.
