North Berwick

Will be interesting to see if this impacts MH’s/Campervans at the usual spots?
At £12 or £20 per night, I'll cross North Berwick off the list. Free aires in France and Spain look much more appealing and that's a lot of money to have for spending in the local economy ...

And as for the Greens Councillor banging on about emissions, I wonder whether she's got a wood burner at home and air con in her office ...

We were there early this year...
Only 1 pub and a few odd shops open with empty car parks.
Money making scam by the council would be my view.
We stopped on the beach just past the golf club...

I think your attitude is very short-sighted ;)
As the clairvoyant Shona says ... "Councillor Shona McIntosh, Scottish Greens councillor, dismissed his claims saying other towns had flourished after charges were introduced."
Personally, when I go out I try and find the most expensive place to stop at :D It only makes sense, doesn't it :rolleyes:

There should be no place in politics for the off the wall tree hugging greens. I would show her some credibility if gave us examples of these towns that have flourished.

It would be a cold day in Berwickshire before that happened! (hang on. EVERY day is a cold day in Berwickshire! have to think of another one ....)

I've absolutely nothing against "greens" generally, but they do need to temper their policies with some realism.
