hi gmj. i am afraid i think that is a fail because of the protruding bodywork & i don't think gaffer tape is excepted either . if it was mine i would repair it with like for like but the problem you have is getting access but if you tackle it bit by bit get fiberglass stuck to the back of the big piece then finish off with gaffer tape till set . if you are not capable then its the Bodyshop . looking at the photo i spot a Comanche autotrail we had a cheyenne 840 d & you have to watch out for those tight turns we nearly had a few near misses . cheyenneIf a MH (i.e. mine!!) has bodywork damage, will it be an automatic MOT fail?
I thinks you would have been better with White Tape thoughThanks all
It's taped up now. The MOT isn't for a while and I'll be getting it repaired as soon as I can but wanted to check just in case.
Possibly not, because it looks so good it might have been forgotten.I think you would have been better with White Tape though![]()
You should have used white tape and it would have blended in nicely![]()
Il nastro adesivo bianco per riattaccare il camper, per favore.Yes I would have but as I'm in the middle of Italy there was a limitation to my toolkit hence the grey stuff!
