I just had a thought.

I have a spreadsheet of Aires etc and it has a hyperlink to Google Street maps.

Any way I wondered if i could do similar with organic Street maps and the very short answer is no you can't.

But you can use the lat long on your phone to bring up Street view on it then share it to your own email address then copy it from the email into the POI description, works a treat.

Why not just use www.searchforsites.co.uk ? It will not only find a site near to where you are, you can search and if you click the appropriate icon, it will get directions from Google Maps. All for £6 per year. Saves a lot of faffing.

We don't use sites so it'd be a waste of a poorly octopus.

Zero phaphing anyway, finding is the challenge, recalling what a place was like years later makes it less of an unknown when looking when in the area next time.

And making an app work for you in a better way is a plus, sharing that hack helps others.

I will also share the idea to the app creators which will only improve it usefulness to others.

Look for a csv to kml converter. Often web-based
Export spreadsheet to csv or upload
Convert to kml. Or download
Open kml with organic maps
Or import
Or export google poi set to kml

Not sure how that would give me a Google Street view of a POI, I think it would only convert one type to another.

I have done it when converting csv etc to ov2 for my old Tom Tom and used POIEDIT which hasn't been updated since the 90s I think.

It does have sites, but also wild camping, pub stops, France Passion, Britstops, off grid parking, parking with services, water points....

So a lot of things I don't want, so I'd not pay to use it.

Organic maps is all I need and occasionally the WC app.

The OP is about utilising Google Street maps within organic maps, not finding places to stay.
