OK, let's be honest ... maybe the question is who HASN'T fallen, or nearly fallen out their Motorhome exiting the hab door? (and I think this is much more prevalent to Motorhomes than to campers with the big sliding doors?).
I think a few people on the forum have actually broken ankles and things this way? I have not gone the whole way but have certainly had a few "woah!" moments stepping out and Linda (the OH) fell over and twisted her ankle coming out one day.
I hate the feeling as each time I think I DID fall out and if at home, I would most likely smash my head on the side of my trailer and that would be it! (no flowers please, just donations).
What made me think of this is a video that came up in my Youtube list this morning from a channel I subscribe to ("AZ Expert". Very interesting and watchable I find) which talked about a very simple upgrade fitting a grab handle. Seems like a great idea (although need to work out the support side for a typical european plastic box motorhome?)
