YouTube acting up at Adblock

I have had no more threats from YT for a couple of days. Instead, it takes a while for a new video to start (I get a black screen and the whirling circle). I checked my broadband speed in case it had dropped but it was fine. Strange.

I reckon that will change to having to turn adblock off eventually so it'll load the video then well be stuck with adverts.
_I pay for it with the TV licence money and really do hit it hard, to get my moneys worth. I threw the TV, out and never regretted anything, there is so much you can learn from it. The adverts drove me mad and it was worth it to dump them

The get-around advice from Ghostery (the ad blocker I use) is when using YouTube make sure you go in via private/incognito setting which seems to allow the ad blocker to work. For now.

Not for long I expect as Google own YouTube.

??
Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think what I described involved Google ...
Sorry, you said "when using YouTube make sure you go in via private/incognito" I assumed that meant Google, not used whatever it was you mentioned I thought it was Google only who had incognito mode.

Sleeping in again, most browsers are hidden from google on my sys, have you never used the TOR union browser.tor b.jpg

Well, I had to bite the bullet and accept ads because YT blocked me from viewing vids.

I use Firefox and I had to google how to switch adblock plus off as the adblock logo did not appear in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Don't know why but YT isn't blocking me on Google now.

Nothing to do with YouTube though.

Makes a lot of sense, for a lot of people no revenue means no videos, but plenty do put stuff up and get nothing, some of it is pure shite though, not mentioning any names :D :D
