You have got to remember, he cannot take his beer any more, so for every 1/2 pint (that is what he orders now), he has to have a 15 min power nap just after it to get him ready for his next 1/2 pint, maximum 3 halves per session

As Jeff says I cannot argue with but I do differ every 1/2 pint I have to pass 1 full pint in the lavie ,now all this twoing and froing it is extremely tiresome so I get my wee nap
but when you get a great partner to chin wag with over a 1/2 like johndoris it makes a huge difference and you cannot drop off with such nice company
