I do need them to darken though Neil, I'm a sensitive soul, bright light makes my eyes water and I sneeze like crazy, not what you want when driving.
I had never thought that I should try them again until I was typing the reply Kev. I doubt I will be walking into many dark rooms from a bright outside these days so wouldn’t have the same problem nowI do need them to darken though Neil, I'm a sensitive soul, bright light makes my eyes water and I sneeze like crazy, not what you want when driving.

I have used https://www.firmoo.com/#UP_win=1046&content=8 very good cases, toolkit & spares & good service from far east. The last pair was British, they were fast, cheep & sent frames to try. https://specscart.co.uk/ would recommend bothI ask as Specsavers don't seem to be able to get my prescription right, I don't know if it the actual test that is wrong or the manufacture.
So I went into Vision Express yesterday and got a price for some news glasses, Re-glaze my existing frames, Bi-Focal with tint and scratch proofing £210
So I looked online and the prices are massively cheaper, I do some old one so I will still be able to see, but wondered if anyone on her had done it and with whom, and what they thought of them.
How did they get the focal points right for your eyes, do they have software you use on your device to get alignment correct for varifocals?I bought some varifocals online for the first time from Goggles4you with transition lenses and all coatings for about £45, delivered in about a week. They are okay so I bought a second pair with different frames. You cannot really go wrong at that price - Specsavers wanted £300 for the the same.![]()
You input your prescription and pupil centre distance. How did they get the focal points right for your eyes, do they have software you use on your device to get alignment correct for varifocals?
Thought they had something like SpecSavers use on the iPad uploaded so you could do it remotely for a minute thereYou input your prescription and pupil centre distance.
I buy mine from goggles4you my last pair were £76 varifocal, tinted and reacolite which I find great when we are in Spain. They make them in America but delivery was quicker than Specsavers and they were spot on.I ask as Specsavers don't seem to be able to get my prescription right, I don't know if it the actual test that is wrong or the manufacture.
