Moderna
Had mine early Wednesday morning. Felt okay the rest of the day. Woke up Thursday feeling unwell, Friday dreadful, Saturday no better. In bed by 9 each night, and not wanting to get up any of the mornings.
Today, Sunday, problem, what problem. Got up feeling full of the joys of spring.
(Difficult to believe, I know)
Up and out for the first serious walk for a good while. Sandwiches and a flask of coffee. 10k, and only feeling a bit sore.
🎶Things can only get better 🎶

I’m pretty sure I’ve had COVID a couple of times.Never felt ill. Not even under the weather. A bit of coughing, that’s all.
That made isolation even more difficult. Nowt wrong, oh! Another positive reaction. So if what I’ve felt over the last few days, is how those who have been unwell with Covid feel then you have my sympathy. Especially those who have long Covid.

COVID. Injection. 3 weeks ago now and so far having had 8 now I never had any reaction .

Same with the flu nothing. Guess I am just lucky.

Will you be ok for Hollingworth Derek ?:sick:

Mrs G had her 8th last week. Was a bit crappy the day after but not as bad as she had been previously. Her arm stopped aching by yesterday.

Martin had no reaction at all, of course that’s cos I vaccinated him! Advice I give to everyone is to up your water intake and keep the vaccinated arm moving

went into chemist a couple of days ago to pick up prescription....
....was asked if i had come in for a covid jab... so i took the offer up
was surprised...as they havent done them previously.
so all done and dusted without any bother.............sorted.

I am not old enough yet;)
I still suffer breathing problems since being diagnosed with long COVID almost four years ago, I wouldn't wish it on anybody although Del full of the joys of spring might tempt me :ROFLMAO:🤣🤣🤣

What I don't understand is why they are doing them at this time of year. Its now people are out in the fresh air and we were told you didn't need the jab then. What changed?

I am on high risk list but they haven't been on to me for this one, had all sorts of other offers, shingles and something else but no covid.

I alway have the jab when they tell me to and its feck all with following the herd. I have a very good friend who is on palliative care now with long covid. He didn't get chance for any jab, went in hospital for an op and 12 days later he was knackered. Its everyones choice if they have anything or not and I have no problem if folks don't want it but feck off with follow the herd comments, thank you :)

To b honest I haven't had the last Booster & I'm not having this latest one .I have suffered with Joint pains ever since having the 1st Covid Jabs ,never in my life have I had anything like this in my joints, when having my X Ray for my knees the Radiographer told me that he had been told by loads of folk of different symptoms people had suffered from Covid Jabs he said you don't know what they are actually putting in your body so sorry not for me.

Same here ....

Had the first couple or so ...
BUT even having fairly bad asthma ...I've given the latter ones a swerve ...
Same with flu jab .

I've seen very little in the way of numbers of cases rising and frankly very little mention of Covid full stop .

I've taken up every vaccination offered, and haven't yet had Covid. My last update was +/- 3 weeks ago, and it made me crotchety for a day.

I walk miles each day in the fresh air, rain or shine, and still carry/use hand sanitiser. Offering others a little more space incorrectly infers that I'm polite, has become an automatic way of life and now feels completely normal.

I'll probably die of a stroke, just like my father. 😳

First mention of a pandemic I took @GWAYGWAY advice in comments here and started taking high dose of Vitamin D3 every day. When I went in for surgery last Autumn I asked the consultant if I was ok to keep taking it, he said definitely and ever since it has been added to my repeat prescription. I can't understand why the government didn't go ahead and issue it en-masse as they talked about doing. I don't know if its the D3, the jab or me not being with lots of people but touch wood I have managed to avoid covid so far.

Apparently my neighbour across the road has just contacted Covid & informed me it's rife around here in Stoke-on-Trent I have noticed a lot more people waring Masks in Supermarkets so as I am going in for my Knee Replacement in a couple of weeks shall be waring mine.

My neighbour and their son informed me a couple week back, they were all suffering from covid.

My neighbour recently had her booster jab, she was reasonably fit late 70s. Airlifted to mainland hospital the next day with a heart attack. She was luckier than an elderly fella in the village who died a few days after his booster, and the guy who used to do my MoTs who had just retired and had his booster and got what the McMillan nurses called a "turbo cancer" in his neck that visibly grew on a daily basis, until he died a few weeks later. I'll take my chances with covid, boost immunity with vitamin D3+K2 and zinc, it seems a lot less dangerous than the jab!
