Northumberland 250

There is far too much desire to try and pick holes in things and find ulterior motives on this forum than is necessary. It is turning into a Facebook group if people aren't careful!

I wouldn't know anything about that, David. I normally only come to check information about upcoming meets.

Otherwise I'm a very infrequent visitor on this site and rarely post much here at all :)🤷‍♀️

Me posting in this particular thread happened to be a rare exception, and only because it concerned a part of the UK I happen to love very much as I hail from round here and have known the area well all my life.

Came across this route earlier today and looks interesting.

I want to use my Motorhome more but find I need some kind of destination or route to aim for rather than just "heading off" (I know loads of people are exactly the opposite, but takes all sorts :D ). This N250 Route is virtually on my doorstep so might give it a run after the new year as a first little run out of 2025 :)
We also love a route to follow.
next time I notice an interesting thing to do, guess what? you will never know about it as I can't be bothered with this crap ;)
I know what you mean so next you find something interesting just PM me ;)

Regards,
Del

I'm up for this too 👍👍👍

No no no you lot have it wrong! Northumberland is a horrible place and definitely to be avoided at all costs. Full of pit heaps and grumpy old blokes in flat caps and mufflers keeping whippets and pigeons ( or is that Yorkshire?). Please stay away to avoid disappointment. And definitely don't put a route together like N250...
Move along now, nothing to see here...
K ;)

If someone wanted to visit sites where Vera was filmed then they would have to include Teesside too. Also, I am not 100% certain but I think North Yorkshire could be added to the pot. I'm thinking Redcar, Marske and Saltburn
