Snowbirds 2025

Some members might be under the mistaken belief that I’m jealous of those able to get to Spain and Portugal this spring.
Let me make it perfectly clear. These members are not mistaken.🥺
I'm hoping we will get there after breaking down before leaving home, fixed by AA, and then again at the port and missing the ferry we are hoping to be on one tonight 🤞which is leaving early due to the bad weather. It's not all plain sailing!

We are currently near Perpignan 😊
We are on the free Aire at Roquetes with free EHU ... 2 minor inconveniences: at 0730 the workmen arrived to dig the cassette and fresh water supply up, and by 12 noon still has the services disabled (and our cassette runneth over, but not with joy ...), and at about 11:30, a German couple strolled onto our pitch and accused us using 2 x EHU, and demanded that we 'hand one over'.

A polite request may have persuaded me to offer a split of the supply, but the aggressive tone and repeated references to 'Ein Englander' led to a pointed response that there are 5 pitches for 4 EHU, so you will have to wait for someone to move' 3 times they came back with the demand ...

A lot of our members are off on their oversea travels, and we will also be joining a few in the next few weeks. Please post your pictures and keep us posted on your travels on this thread. Have a great trip everyone ☀️ 🌞
Ferry to Santander, 2 days down to the south then ferry to Tangier. Hopefully up to five weeks there then back to Schengenville to finish. Probably Spain/Portugal 😎🤞

Bimbling around greece, found this place that needs wully to finish the roofIMG_4805.jpeg

Acropolis is amazing at sunset , dont hesitate just head for greece in the winter, not many british vans , loads of water/ shower points on most beaches and industrial bins at every beach, Athens 5 day pass on all public transport trains , underground, trams, busses, was €9 , motorhome secure parking with your own key for out of hours was €18 15 minutes on the 7nderground from the center of Athens, at Parkopolis in Pireaus

Remind him who won the war, that will annoy him.
