Our faithful scruffy mutt Max came to the end of the road, this evening at 22.50
We found him in a stable 12 or 13 years ago and we couldn’t just leave him there, so he became our constant companion on our travels.
He travelled with us to Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy and The Czech Republic as well as all over the UK.
He wasn’t always perfectly behaved, but was very loving and protective towards us and we shall miss him dearly.

Sorry to hear this Rodger my thoughts are with you and Chris. He was a a cracking wee dug.I remember the time 20 of us went looking for him at Goosenar and he was tucked up in the van wondering what all the fuss was about.

Sorry too hear the news, Obviously life will be different without him but you can be sure you gave him the best life.
Our regards to you both at this difficult time.
Lee and Linda

So sorry to read this max was a lovely dog with cheeky spirit, having recently lost Taya I feel your pain hang onto the great memories you have and the good life you gave him. 💋💋

Thank you all for your condolencies, Chris has always had a dog since childhood, and I was never going to say she couldn’t have one. Strangely, when we found Max, he made it very clear that he was my dog and so his passing has hit me very hard.
He is now sleeping in the garden, in view of the kitchen window, we intend to get a nice pot plant to place on top of his slab. I’m not much of a gardener, but I would like to get a plant that would bloom on his birthday in October, but will have to do some research on that. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks again to you all.
