How did you find the ferry crossing?
My app says a 3.9m swell. Trouble is it's just a number to us.

Would not want to put folk off.
Earlier ferry on Wednesday took a different route which delayed our crossing and later crossing.
Lorries were chained down, larger motorhomes were chocked. Our vans (6.3 mtr.) were given shoulder shove to check handbrake.
There was significant roll from WSW winds, pitching with bow crashes, some white faces, food and drinks taken to table by staff....


...no smell of sick.

...great voyage, felt safe.

Years ago we travelled on the hydrofoil between Weymouth and Jersey. Many passengers were seasick, we were fortunate to be advised by a regular user to keep our feet off the floor as this meant that the full up and down motion wasn't transmitted through your body. I was sceptical but when I put my feet on the floor I immediately felt queasy. I didn't do it again. May be worth a try if it's a bit rough.

We have arrived safely. Sailing was fairly smooth. Only a little choppy today. Felt a bit but was ok as I took anti sickness tablets an hour before

At last - no need for crossed fingers - at least for now!

Garage has just been on the phone, the new temp sensor has been fitted and is working and the engine is definitely not overheating.
They can't find anything else wrong.

Going to pick it up this afternoon when Neil has finished his lunch deliveries

Ferry was booked for next Monday 16th, so couple nights wildcamping on arrival - Orkney here I come, beep, beep !!!
