Anyone having problems with wildcamping this morning?

I tried several combinations of browser, machine and Internet connection and it's been down for me since about 06:30. Just checked and it's still down...

Yes, down for me too.
Interesting that one site is down whilst the other is up.
I've not looked into how they work but I'd have expected both to be on the same server, for reasons of economy. Good that they're not.

On reflection, that was wrong. Wildcamping's server is up and running. Just not working properly.
The issue is a misconfiguration of the site on that server, so they may not be on different servers.

In general, when an important site goes down, we have three tasks to do:
1. Check it really is broken, find out why and fix it.
2. Post an entry on the status page
3. Field phone calls and emails from people affected.
In general, farming out task 3. to someone else is vital, or you'll never get 1. finished.

Like the Archers on Radio 4.... used by our Nuclear subs, to check all is OK in Blighty, perhaps wc.co.uk is also used for similar purposes.
I'm going to check that we can still get radio 4.
