Recently purchased a Vtoman jump 22 power pack and impressed so far apart from the noisy fan.
Tried charging it using the fag lighter socket when moving to a new location. After about 10 minutes I felt the plug in the dash and it was hot. Unplugged it and it was too hot to hold. Anyone else found this?

The wires on your van socket are not the right gauge for changing your Vtoman, you need to use correct size cable straight to your battery and fused at the battery terminal

I think the problem is because the plug is not a firm fit in the socket and causes arking that causes over heating , the cover on my socket states a maximum wattage I would not use it to charge powerstation

yes that is what I am thinking too.
Just wanted to try it out as it is a new toy
Thanks for all the feedback.

Change the Plug to one of these
