After seeing the Facebook post about the annual haggis migration I was just wondering if it makes our Scottish members sad? Especially as once they have left they don't return.
Don't you need a firearms licence to shoot them? I know they are fast runners so you would need a spread-shot 12 bore.
It's the capers I find most difficult to catch. They keep running away under the nearest bush.
If you shoot them with a shot gun you'll be picking pellets out of your teeth. Not good for oldies with wonky ones. Less than fond memories off that with wild rabbits captured for the pot. Would ferrets do the job I wonder?
