Weather Report..................

Genuine Don't Go out afternoon.
Squally showers with drizzling intervals.. 10 degrees, real feel.

Trouble is, I've got to go out, to deliver some medical paperwork to the clinic, 400m away.
That's a ½ mile walk.
Management deeply asleep in a warm siesta . Or is she kidding?

The local Council at Moncofa cleared the last of the previous week's storm relocation of the beach to the promenade on Saturday, around lunchtime.

Then last night, a ferocious storm arrived, shaking the M/Home violently for a good deal of the night. Couldn't walk along the promenade this morning - sand was about a foot deep and there's been a JCB plus 2 or 3 mini diggers working all day to put the beach back in its rightful place ... JCB creates 2-3 large mounds by the sea wall, and the mini diggers do the fine manoeuvring to redistribute the sand and pebbles. Probably another couple of days work to remove the mounds ...

Then all the Palm trees that were denuded of their branches need attention. Wasn't what was meant by Palm Sunday, but too late now ...

Chandra has brought more rain and wind to Devon overnight. Rain easing during the day but still a yellow warning for wind. High of 10 degrees.
That's exactly what is currently hitting East Sussex. Storm Chandra should start to ease off mid afternoon, when we may even get some sunshine. 🌧🌨⛅

Always look on the bright side, Ruth.
The weather radar shows a bright, dry couple of hours.
It's arrived exactly 1 hour late.
And very welcome it is.

What a night..!
Hooley blowing across the bathroom vents and cooker hood, sounded like a bad brass band.
Calming down now and hints of sunshine.
Then the whole cabaret is forecast to start again, this evening... Allegedly.

East Sussex will have a dry (but cloudy) day during the daylight hours, with a light SE breeze and chilly 7° high. Overnight rain will develop later. ☁️☁️🌨
