Air con

I have what I think is air con in my cab but when I press the button it does not seem very cold so my questions are
1) is it because it’s just so warm that it’s not blowing as cold as it should.
2) is there some part of it that needs servicing or topping up or looking at.

When you press button dose the Light up. And sometimes the engine needs to be running for five minutes then set the blower too dash vents and not windscreen or feet then turn blower to full temp knob fully turned too blue. Put you’re hand over vent see if it gets any cooler.

Cheers will try that when I set off in the morning.

It may simply need the gas it topping up, I get mine done every 2 or 3 years and it makes a noticable difference. It certainly needs the windows closed to be effective.

Think they advise to have on recycled air not external. Some may not operate of on external air source perhaps!!!

I only just discovered I can probably get a regas on van when I go visiting relatives as one of our grand sons is an AC and heating engineer and usually has enough in his car for a regas. I didn't find out until we were about to leave last time so couldn't arrange it. Will see if I can get it done next time we are close and have time to stop
