When we got our van it has cushion floor the vinyl down. It looks like it may have been original but would have come with carpet or mats over it.

I like the vinyl as it’s easy clean with the dogs and easier to wipe dry if they come in wet but Caz is starting to collect mats :)

What solutions have you got for van floors?

I've got the same sort of flooring in Birdie and I really like it... looks like a laminate floor does in a house but it's vinyl. It's really easy to sweep and wipe down but I do have a long rag-rug runner that almost goes the whole length of the van... helps to prevent too much damage. The rug gets shaken outside during a trip and shoved in the washing machine when I get home.
Oh and I've got a couple of door mats in the entrance for my ever-growing collection of mud and grass
In the colder months, I put a fitted carpet down that I painstakingly shaped with a pair of scissors from an off-cut left over from the house... adds a bit of extra warmth and protects the floor when feet are constantly wet and muddy.
One thing I never use is the mats that came with the van because I can't live with the colour. If you've ever changed a baby's nappy, you'll know just the shade I mean

You seem to be having trouble with the words baby poop !!!

Vinyl for me too. I removed the van carpets and have used runners/mats since.

I have some spare carpet to cut to size, when I get "a round tuit".

Sounds like your original carpet is a similar colour to ours Jennie.o_O

Trust me, I had plenty of trouble with baby poop in my time o_O

By the way, it was you and Linda who made me see the light about how easy it is to keep the floor clean if you ditch the carpets, so thank you for that. Can't remember the last time I travelled with my hand-held Dyson... more space for a nice big tool box
