Is it worth paying the extra for a mppt controller on a Small 100 w solar panel ?( not the fake Chinese knock off's)

Definitely I've measured the input with both PWM and MPPT and good quality (can still be cheap) ones are putting much more into the LBs

This is the one I use one every vna I've had, it has been recommended to me many times by people who actually know what they are talking about, it gives all the information you need to know what is going on as it happens, none of this LED rubbish, a proper LCD display, and if you have an issue ( I had a battery connection LED go down on my first one,) they sort it out very quickly, and support is in English.

Where can we buy said unit I had just changed to Gel and dont want to over charge when no loads are on

Great bit of kit just fitted one, to 2×100 panel's 2×125 batts ..
 
Don't know how you use yours but I managed fine with just 1x100w, 2x125ah, plenty TV, PVR heating, I'd have had more up top, just not enough space.
