Hi! As some of you already know I knit & crochet blankets etc which are sent to disaster areas,

war zones & the like. A big thank you again to those who produced squares for me at some of the meets. I will be at Druridge Bay this week & then Henley in Arden if anyone wants to do some knitting. Wool & needles provided. Good opportunity for a natter too. :)

Love the vivid colours. Keep up the good work (y)

I'm in the middle of knitting something at the moment but was thinking about doing some squares for you with the left over wool...........don't hold your breath though, I chop and change between knitting and reading o_O

I always knit when watching DVDs. Have thought about trying it when reading. Wondered it I could prop the book up on a recipe stand. Any other suggestions how I could do it welcome. :) Squares any size would be welcome but I try to get 7" ones if pos.

I was speaking to Jennie at Hereford, she said you were aiming for 7" square. Will see what I can do Hazel.

i think someone said there had been a goup of knitters at druridge......if i had known...i would have been pleased to have helped knit some..............good luck with your project

As Hazel says, 7" squares are best but she has had several bigger and oblongs from me, hopefully all useable even though not as lovely as hers. Do you have a pattern for your squares Hazel?

Wherever I am there will be knitting so next time Trixie......

If you went high tech and put kindle on your smartphone, you could get some VR goggles and do both that way.

Hi Trixie! I will be at Hereford in May with knitting of course if you are going. :)

Here’s my attempts at knitting, just started! The scarf was janet’s valentines present and then last week I made a chunky bobble hat,
Now all the blokes are gonna take the proverbial out of me, I will look out for some wool and have a go at squares
Well done hazel ?B9E0F268-5F8B-43B0-A414-C95A44DFD110.jpeg
