WHERE DO YOU KEEP YOUR VAN IN WINTER?

I keep my van on the Driveway as I drive it all year round - not daily, but probably at least once a week to nip upto the shops or whatever.

Interesting comments here... seems most people keep a power lead to their MH and keep a heater running inside over winter. I've never done that and never noticed any damp or mould, but maybe I should put a heater on frost protect? and in the living space, or in the garage where the water pump is (it is below zero overnight for a significant part of the winter where I am)

I keep mine in the driveway as we go away weekends in it
Coupled up to mains with heaters inside
we use ours 12 months a year, in all weathers....can't bear the thought of all that investment standing around doing nothing !!

I parked ours where I store it Tuesday night and was talking with the farmer, they also own the caravan site below where I park, he said that of all the motorhomes and caravans that are left there we are the only ones who seem to get use out of it. It amazes me how folks can afford to spend tens or hundreds of thousands of pounds on something then leave it unused.

Portugal, with me in it, don't have to worry about keeping it aired or anything, as nice and sunny most days.

Mine is my everyday vehicle but it's just a VW T4, but you don't find diamonds as big as building bricks :giggle: and it's great on single track roads and car parks.
