It's been a lovely warm day as we (Ed and me) drove south out of Belgium and into France. We're now on a rather nice free Aire adjacent to a canal::



Watching the sky settle down for the night above Landrecies was a delight

We're jealous, Colin. Hot and sticky throughout the day but cooling off, to 19 degrees, now.
It felt as if a storm was brewing, but nothing forecast and that's what happened.
they're talking about 3mms of rain, early Thursday.. We'll see.

It was a lovely Autumnal start to the day with mist across the canal here in France.
By the time my first cup of coffee was a fond memory the mist had cleared and the day was set to inspire:
