What Brand is This Van?

Well done bill that had me stumped. We’ve got a new long wheelbase VW LT on hire for a few weeks and it’s a dream to drive think I’ll be looking at leasing or buying one after Christmas

They do look very good. Is it RWD or FWD? (The FWD have a very useful 4" extra internal headroom over the RWD or 4WD models)

Like years back ,Datsun 1200 copied off a ford mk2 cortina if I remember correctly, they always copy and do well imho Agh ?

It’s fwd find it very easy to park for its size think they’ve got a better turning circle and the wheels are closer too the corners. Don’t know what size the engine is but it pulls pretty good and very quiet for a van. Suppose there all like that when new.

Always thought it was NCV3 imitation rather than a licensed copy.
It was released while the NCV3 was a current model, in 2015 or 16.
All Merc vans have been built elsewhere but usually when a new model is announced, and they rarely if ever get sold in Europe.
The old T1 is still available in India.

the T1N is a current model in Russia as well alongside the NCV3. Called the Mercedes Benz Sprinter Classic.

Yes, well alongside the new Sprinter, VS30 now.
Apparently T1N's Classics are euro6 now as well, and in theory should be available through main dealers. I haven't asked but I'd put a fiver on the UK dealers not even knowing of them.
