This is the end result of not heeding our cold weather ,this is my sons fence outside his stables at the house ,this guy (going too fast) in his first winter out here ,my son heard the noise early this am went out and the guy was standing crying at the cars side ,goung on about the damage ,my son said to him he was lucky to be ok ,
He had not noticed the bit fence came through the car and pierced the passenger seat head rest ,the colour then drained when Jon showed him .

Yes it’s very easy to get a false sense of security sat in heated boxes.

We were travelling along a dual carriageway with slippery road warning signs , it was raining very heavily so I was driving at 50mph, cars were overtaking doing well over 70mph and to make it worse they were tailgating at that speed, we don't see many Police cars around here unfortunatelydownload.png

Terry we’ve seen things like that on dual carriageways and some would be going faster than that it’s scary to think about it that because of their stupidity it could cost someone their life!

You can do so much better than that Terry

I know exactly what caused that one, was Dell texting me on his phone while driving his truck, he drifted over lanes and they took evasive action:)

I was out walking at the time. A day off and I don’t bring the truck home. Guv’ nor doesn’t like that .

Scarily enough I saw the driver of a concrete* lorry driving with both wrists supported on the top of the steering wheel busily texting as he approached me from the opposite direction a couple of days ago in the Midlands. He ws way old enough to know better, damn idiot.

* [well it was made of steel with rubber tyres etc etc but was designed to deliver concrete]
